Hide and Seek
A continuous game
of cat and mouse -
no winners or losers,
until the eclipse
darkens the world.
The sun seeks the moon
as it hides amongst the stars
while the moon seeks the sun
as it shines down from above.
Seeking, searching -
forever apart,
until they meet
in a line
and make the day go black.
