Loneliness...

Loneliness is
dancing alone in a crowded room
or sitting home alone,
as the black hole
inside your chest
grows bigger and bigger.
It’s hard letting the lonely go.

Loneliness is
all the sadness,
the anger and depression
eating away at you
until everything is numb -
numb, beyond caring,
beyond trying
to let the lonely go.

Loneliness is
feeling that nobody cares,
feeling nothing but emptiness.
